The present invention provides a switchable polarizing lens, a manufacturing method thereof, and a 2D/3D image display device using the same, capable of having thin thickness and light weight and being manufactured at a low cost. The switchable polarizing lens includes: a double refraction lens; and a single refraction lens. The double refraction lens includes a plurality of convex parts, is extended vertically or horizontally, and has a first refractive index in an extension direction and a second refractive index in a non-extension direction. The single refraction lens includes a plurality of concave parts to flatten the concave part, formed by the convex parts of the double refraction lens, and has the same refractive index as the second refractive index.
