摘要

The present invention relates to a Bassica rapa Drought Stress Resistance (BrDSR) gene and a protein, which are derived from Brassica rapa. The BrDSR gene and protein of the present invention engage in tolerance of a plant to drought stress, and a transgenic plant with overexpression of the same has excellent tolerance to drought stress. Therefore, the transgenic plant has remarkable resistance against drought stress in an arable land caused by changes in climatic conditions due to global warming, or the like, and can be usefully used as a novel functional plant having excellent adaptability to dry conditions of cultivation.
