The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a food composition for enhancing immune activity, containing 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid (10-HDA)-containing royal jelly as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the composition for enhancing immune activity is highly effective in activation of a mechanism of the signal transduction mediated by phospholipase C (PLC) in Jurkat T and Daudi B cells. Thus, the composition can be useful as a pharmaceutical or food composition for enhancing immune activity.
