The access point also transmits the authentication response to the station. Authentication response includes the WPA2-PSK authentication type. The access point also retrieve the PSK, and based on the PSK to generate a PMK. The access point also receives the association request from a station after generation of the PMK. Association request includes the confirmation keys derived from the PSK. The access point also transmits an association response to the station in response to receiving the association request. Association response includes a confirmation key.
