The present invention relates to a method for producing riboflavin in an organism in the genus Eremothecium which is genetically modified so as to increase activity of inosine-5′-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), which includes a step of isolating rivoflavin from a culture medium after growing the organism in an adequate culture medium. In addition, the present invention also relates to an organism which is genetically modified organism and belongs to the genus Eremothecium, and to a use of the genetically modified organism for increasing the accumulation of rivoflavin.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
