The present invention provides a hydrogen detection gas sensor where a substrate, a core/shell structured nanowire composed of a zinc oxide core or a tungsten trioxide shell, and an electrode are sequentially stacked. Moreover, according to the present invention, the gas sensor can detect improved hydrogen gas detection characteristics as compared with a simple existing zinc oxide nanowire and shows the hydrogen sensing characteristics at the room temperature through ultraviolet irradiation.
