The present invention relates to a Lactobacillus plantarum GBL16 (KCCM11621P) strain isolated from Rubus coreanus fruits. The present invention further relates to a food composition containing the same. According to the present invention, the strain exhibits acid resistance, resistance to artificial gastric fluid, bile tolerance, activity of inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, and activity of inhibiting fat accumulation.
