摘要

A time of flight (TOF) depth imaging device generates a depth image of an object having corrected depth values. The device comprises a pixel array which uses an electronic rolling shutter scheme. The device further includes a light source transmitting light modulated at an operation frequency to the object and an optical shutter which is opened and closed by the operating frequency. The optical shutter modulates the light, which is reflected by the object, before the light reaches a pixel array. Light transmission and a shutter operation shift a phase and provide a fast frame rate, while at least one pixel senses the received light. The depth is determined by the amount of the light sensed by the pixels, and correction is calculated to compensate for the phase shift.
