The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing Robinia pseudoacacia extract for preventing or treating atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, stroke, vascular dementia, liver disease, dyslipidemia, prophylaxis or thrombosis. As a sample of the present invention was shown to inhibit the expression of cell adhesive molecules induced by TNF-, the pharmaceutical composition containing Robinia pseudoacacia extract of the present invention, are confirmed to be useful as a pharmaceutical composition or a functional health food for preventing or treating arteriosclerosis, myocardial infarction, stroke, vascular dementia, liver disease, dyslipidemia or thrombosis, through the following tests: HMG-CoA reductase assay experiment, the lipid measurement experiment, the secretion of TNF- and IL-6, inflammatory cytokines induced by high cholesterol measurement experiment, the mRNA expression of blood vessel molecules, ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 measurement experiment, the mRNA expression inhibitory ability of chemotactic factors, CCL2 and CCL5 measurement experiment, and the mRNA expression inhibitory ability of lipogenesis factor, HMG-CoA, SREBP-2, LXR and LOX-1 measurement experiment.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
