DIAGNOSTIC METHOD OF KOREAN NATIVE CATTLE MARBLING SCORE USING DNA MOLECULAR MARKER

摘要

The present invention relates to a diagnostic method of a marbling score using a single nucleotide polymorphism marker of a Korean native cattle (Hanwoo) AKIRIN2 gene. The present invention provides methods of early selection of a high quality Korean native cattle by using a marbling score related DNA molecular marker for predicting and determining genetic qualities of a Korean native cattle with an excellent marbling score, and inspection of a gene useful for improving accuracy of individual evaluation. In further detail, the present invention provides a marbling score diagnostic method for determining that individuals having TT and TC genotypes are individuals with excellent marbling scores genetically in comparison with individuals having a CC genotype, by detecting a single nucleotide polymorphism marker (SNP marker) according to an SNP genotype for each Korean native cattle individual in a PCR-RFLP technique using a specific SNP existing inside an exon first region of the Korean native cattle AKIRIN2 gene.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
