The present invention relates to a real time image stitching apparatus and a real time image stitching method. The image stitching apparatus of the present invention stitches a digital image signal from an image sensor by using a digital chip of a platform more frequently than a central processing unit, a driver, or an application software so as to convert the signal into an image file for outputting, displaying, or storing the signal.
