According to the present invention, a vertical moving device for stage equipment comprises: a drum where a wire rope connected to stage equipment is wound, formed to be rotated around a rotational shaft extended toward one side and the other side by penetrating a center thereof; a driving unit rotating the drum; a first brake unit provided to one side of the rotational shaft to stop rotation of the drum; and a second brake unit provided to the other side of the rotational shaft to stop rotation of the drum.
