An air conditioning device with a sterilizing light source of an evaporator includes: an air conditioning device housing installed inside a vehicle and having an air inlet and an air outlet in one side and the other side respectively; the evaporator installed in one internal side of the air conditioning device housing; a heater core arranged in the other internal side of the air conditioning device housing; and the light source unit arranged inside the air conditioning device housing and emitting ultrasonic light when power is supplied. The air conditioning device with the light source for sterilizing the evaporator and a controlling method of the air conditioning device with the light source for sterilizing the evaporator according to the present invention is capable of sterilizing a surface of the evaporator with the light source unit emitting the ultrasonic light, thereby preventing mold and bacteria and eliminating the existing bacteria.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
