The present invention relates to a method of detecting a subsurface structure and a method of drilling shale gas using the same. According to the invention, the method of detecting a subsurface structure comprises: a step of applying a three-dimensional seismic wave to a target subsurface structure for exploration; and a step of analyzing at least one among a consistency of a target stratum and structural curvature, which are from a three-dimensional seismic wave delivered from a subsurface structure.
