The present invention relates to a white light emitting diode using carbon quantum dots. To this end, the white light emitting diode using carbon quantum dots includes a light emitting device module which is arranged in the lower part of the internal space of a blue light emitting device, a first layer which is arranged in the upper part of the light emitting module to be separated from the blue light emitting device by a constant distance and contains carbon quantum dots, and a phosphor layer which is arranged in the upper part of the first layer and is made of a phosphor material which receives light emitted from the first layer and emits white light.
