The present invention relates to a method for efficiently producing hydrogen by suppressing the production of methane by intermittently supplying a carbon source to an anaerobic tank of a wastewater treatment apparatus. Using the method of the present invention, it is possible to produce hydrogen while suppressing the production of methane in the anaerobic tank, and thus it can be widely used for production of more effective hydrogen.
