The present invention relates to a head for an LED lamp, and more particularly, to a head for an LED lamp in which a heat generated from an LED module is transferred to a housing and discharged to the outside, so the housing is used as a heat sink, so that a heat sink effect that an internal heat is released to the outside is improved even if the number of a heat sink formed on the LED module is reduced, thereby securing a high reliability and realizing a light weight and a cost saving. The head for an LED lamp of the present invention includes: a housing which has an inner space and of which a lower part is opened; a base part which is coupled to the opened lower part of the housing and has an inserting hole; unit LED modules which are inserted into the inside of the housing to couple with the base part and a first coupling member, and have a plurality of radiation pins mounted above the unit LED modules at intervals each other; and a second coupling member coupled to the unit LED modules in the housing.
