The LED streetlight comprises: a light body (11), an LED illumination light source (12) arranged on the light body (11), a power supply module (13) for supplying power to the LED illumination light source (12), and an alert module (14) connected to the power supply module (13) and used for issuing a road condition alert. The alert module (14) is a display screen module that issues the road condition alert in the form of text display. The alert module (14) comprises: a display screen (141), a receiver (142) used for receiving a road condition signal, and a controller (143) connected to the display screen (141) and the receiver (142) and used for controlling the display screen (141) to display corresponding text on the basis of the road condition signal. As such, since LED streetlights are generally erected along a road, vehicle drivers and pedestrians, who most need to be aware of road conditions, can learn from the alert module (14) the real-time road condition of the section of the road being traveled, so a response measure corresponding to the real-time road condition can be taken, thus enriching the functions of the streetlight, and increasing the utilization rate thereof.
