The present invention relates to a hybrid waterproof and root barrier structure on an external wall surface of a wall body of an underground structure, and a construction method thereof comprising: after forming a paint film layer by spreading penetrating waterproof materials up to the external wall surface of a wall body and the edge of a top surface of the floor to support the wall body, a double waterproof and root barrier structure is formed to fixate by high-frequency fusion a waterproof sheet on a paint film layer; a watertight surface secured, and a high function of permeability resistance; the paint film layer continuing to be waterproof even if there is damage to the waterproof sheet; the defective factors of the product being able to be reduced; water flow from an external wall surface to an internal wall surface blocked; the lifespan of the product being able to be extended; the reliability of a user on the product improved; a cold resistance substance added to the penetrating waterproof materials; the waterproofing work being able to be done even during the winter with temperatures of -10°C or lower; and the economic feasibility being able to be improved thanks to a reduction in construction period and labor costs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
