FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: offered method relates to electrical engineering, namely to a gas-diffusive electrode and a method of its fabrication according to which the first layer is formed as an active layer by means of filling of the porous conducting grid with suspension of particles of conducting material in a solution of the first binding substance, the second layer is formed by means of filling of the first layer with suspension of particles of hydrophobic material in the solution of the second binding substance and the hydrophobic layer is formed by means of inversion of phases of the first and second layers due to which the porosity in the both first and second layers is formed. The gas-diffusive electrode fabricated according to the named method allows to use it as a gas-diffusive electrode in the membrane and electrode unit containing the membrane located between two electrodes, meanwhile at least one of electrodes is a gas-diffusive electrode.EFFECT: process effectiveness of the offered method allows to fabricate castings of the membrane and electrode unit in one pass with a possibility of adjustment of porosity of the gas-diffusive electrode, and also to decrease its overstress and to increase service life, that is technical result of the invention.13 cl, 11 dwg, 6 tbl, 9 ex
