PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffusive catalytic electrode having excellent catalysis with a reduced amount of catalyst and a method for manufacturing the same, and an electrochemical device. SOLUTION: The gas diffusive catalytic electrode contains conductive catalyst particles being sticked with a catalyst 2 in a membrane state on a surface of conductive powder 1. The method for manufacturing the gas diffusive catalyst electrode includes a production that the conductive catalyst particles is formed by sticking the catalyst 2 in a membrane state by a physical vapor deposition method on the surface of the conductive powder 1. An electrochemical device is comprised of the first pole, the second pole and an ion conductor 3 between both poles and then the gas diffusive catalytic electrode containing the conductive catalyst particles being sticked with the catalyst 2 in a membrane state on the surface of the conductive powder 1 constitutes the first pole at least of the first and second poles.
