METHOD FOR DETERMINING TACTICS OF PREVENTING MASSIVE THROMBOEMBOLISM OF PULMONARY ARTERIES IN ORTHOPAEDIC AND TRAUMA PATIENTS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: patients of orthopaedic and trauma profile undergo ultrasonic angioscanning before clinic of venous thromboembolic complications develops. In case if venous thrombosis is absent, anticoagulation therapy is performed till complete activation of muscle-venous pump. If occlusive thrombosis is detected, ligation of vein above thrombus and fracture fixation are performed. If floating thrombosis is detected, ablation of floating part of thrombus and ligation or phleboplication of vein at the level of its attachment to vein is carried out in combination with operative reposition and fixation of fracture.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase survival rate of patients with venous thromboses of main veins in combination with bone trauma due to specific tactics of managing such patients.
