FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fodder production and may be used for manufacture of semi-products, bases for a fodder additive and a fodder product for farm animals and birds. The semi-product contains swollen vermiculite whereon one sprays an active component represented by lactic acid with polyvinyl pyrrolidone at the total ratio equal to 3:2. The fodder additive base contains the said semi-product and an active component generated from a mixture of amber acid and/or its salts, citric acid, salt, bentonite and vermiculite.
