FIELD: food industry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to starch production and is intended, mainly, for extraction of starch suspension from potatoes and can also be used for separation of raw materials of vegetable origin. Filtering centrifuge with an attrition unit, mainly for extraction of starch from potato raw material, comprises a stationary body with devices of material feed and discharge of separated phases, a drive and a rotary driven fitted on a shaft rotor with a filtering conical screen fixed on a disc with grinding elements of the attrition unit. Herewith the attrition unit is equipped on the feed device side with the disc with grinding elements, which shaft with own rotation speed from the drive is installed in the shaft of the disc with the screen, and between opposed grinding elements of the discs there is a narrowing to the screen slot, and the disc located on the side of the feed device also has on its side grinding elements, between which there are holes in the disc for channels to inlet the attrited material into the slot.;EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of destruction of potato raw material cell structures and increased intensity of starch extraction from the potato raw material.;1 cl, 4 dwg
