Alloy for matrix inherent under tribo-mechanical stress produced manganese oxide layers for extended use of hot working tools of S (HSS) iron-based alloys, characterized in that a parent alloy is used with the alloy contents of: carbon (C) 2.60 to 2.90 mass percent silicon (Si) 0.35 to 0.45 mass percent manganese (Mn) 2.30 to 5.00 mass percent phosphorus (P) less than 0.030 mass percent sulfur (S) less than 0.030 mass percent chromium (Cr) 6.30 to 6.70 mass percent tungsten (W) 11.80 to 12.20 weight percent vanadium (V) 6.20 to 6.70 weight percent molybdenum (Mo) 1.75 to 1.95 weight percent niobium (Nb) 0.50 to 1.00 weight percent nickel (Ni 0.00-0.60% by weight of cobalt (Co) 0.00-0.60% by mass of iron (Fe) and unavoidable impurities of less than 0.6% in total, with the impurities not being aluminum (Al), elements of "Rare earths" from the lanthanide group, cerium (Ce), titanium (Ti), Y tetrium (Y), and boron (B) are counted.
