The invention relates to a method and a device for creating the most probable driving path in a driving horizon system. According to the invention, a driving horizon that builds on the most probable driving path is generated only after the most probable driving path has been created. Thus, the frequency of creating the most probable travel path and driving horizon is reduced by self-learning.
