The invention relates to a horse feeding device, a horsebox wall (15), a horsebox, a horsebox system, a horse stall, and a method for feeding a horse. It is known that a horse can only pull and eat the hay bit by bit over time at a hay rack. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved system for feeding horses. This is achieved in that a first volume of a horse feeding device lies in a feeding area and a second volume lies in a storage area. The first volume is separated from the second volume in a stable manner, and the horse feeding device is designed to mechanically move the second volume into the feeding area, in particular using a motor. For this purpose, a drum is preferably used with multiple radially separated chambers (7, 8, 9).
