PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horse feed additive having a high palatability and an effect of improving exercise ability, a method for producing a horse exercise ability improving agent, a method for producing a horse feed additive, and a method for raising a horse. A horse feed additive contains 5 to 15% by weight of calcium and 35 to 45% by weight of silicon, has a water content of less than 3%, and is sieved on a 200 mesh sieve under a 170 mesh sieve. The proportion of particles separated is 10% by mass or more and 20% by mass or less, and the ratio of particles sieved under a 200 mesh sieve is 60% by mass or more, including fossil mineral powder.
