A molding packaging material (1) includes an outer substrate layer (13) of a heat-resistant resin, an inner sealing layer (16) of a thermoplastic resin, a metal foil layer (11) interposed between the outer substrate layer (13) and the inner sealing layer (16 ), and a protective coating layer (14) formed on a side opposite to the side of the metal foil layer (11) of the outer substrate layer (13). The protective coating layer (14) is made of a resin composition comprising a main resin comprising a phenoxy resin and a urethane resin and a curing agent, and has a thickness of 0.1 μm to 10 μm.
