A connection structure of a multi-layer wire includes at least a substrate, a high-temperature superconducting layer, a tape-like laminated body, a conductor layer, and a flow-through formation body. The superconducting high-temperature layer is formed on a surface of the substrate. The ribbon-like laminated body includes at least the substrate and the superconducting high-temperature layer. The conductor layer covers an outer periphery of the tape-like laminated body. The flow-forming body serves as a flow path of a superconducting current generated in the superconducting high-temperature wire piece. The flow-forming body is bonded by a bonding material attached to a side surface of the conductor layer, the side surface being disposed on one of the high-temperature superconducting layer with respect to the substrate opposite side.
