The device has two sensor supports, where each support is provided with a fixing unit for fixing the support to a shoe. Sensors (3, 5) are attached to the supports, where the sensors are selected from a group including an inclinometer on one or each of the supports, a laser rangefinder on one or each of the supports, and an ultrasonic rangefinder having a transmitter on one of the supports and a receiver on the other support. A connector (11) connects the inclinometer and a microcontroller (10), for transmitting the values measured by the inclinometer to the microcontroller. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for analyzing the movements of a foot of a person (2) a software support for analyzing the movements of a foot of a person.
