The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a nanocomposite polymer by means of a single screw or twin screw extruder comprising a sheath. The invention is characterized in that the process comprises the following steps of: adding inorganic precursors or inorganic / organic nanofillers to a thermoplastic polymer or prepolymer for thermosetting resin in the extruder; dispersion in the thermoplastic polymer or the melt thermosetting resin prepolymer of inorganic precursors or inorganic / organic hybrid nanofillers; - inorganic condensation under the action of microwaves; and obtaining a thermoplastic or thermosetting nanocomposite polymer.
