Biomarkers for early detection of ovarian cancer

The present invention relates to a method of screening for ovarian cancer in a subject comprising: (a) measuring at least three biomarkers in a test serum sample of the subject, wherein said at least three biomarkers include transthyretin, apolipoprotein Al (ApoAl) and transferring; and (b) comparing the measured at least three biomarkers of the test serum sample to a measurement of the three biomarkers in a normal serum sample, wherein a decrease in the measured three biomarkers of the test serum sample compared to the measurement of the three biomarkers in the normal serum sample is indicative of ovarian neoplasia.
