PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff structure and a water cutoff method of a skirt wall excellent in workability capable of securing even water cutoff performance of a segment joint part.;SOLUTION: In a water cutoff method of a skirt wall 23A for securing water cutoff performance of a connection part between the skirt wall 23A provided in an end part of an underground cavity 14 and a segment 10A of a shield tunnel 10 connected to an opening 26 opened in the skirt wall 23A, when constructing the skirt wall 23A, a skirt wall plate 30 is installed on an end surface 28 on the side of turning to the segment 10A of the skirt wall 23A, and after constructing the skirt wall 23A, the segment 10A of the shield tunnel 10 positioned on the inside of the underground cavity 14 is removed, and after putting a segment plate 34 of an end surface 32 of the segment 10A in an exposed state, a presser plate 38 is joined to the skirt wall plate 30 and the segment plate 34 by sandwiching a sealant 36 having water cutoff performance.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
