PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff structure which cuts off water at a joint portion between mutually adjacent elements of an earth retaining wall.;SOLUTION: The water cutoff structure 7 of the earth retaining wall 1 cuts off water at a gap between the mutually adjacent elements 2, 2 of the earth retaining wall 1 constructed by horizontally arranging the plurality of elements 2 each having cores 3. The water cutoff structure 7 is composed of a water cutoff means 10 which is formed of: one joint member 11 attached to the core 3a at an end of one of the mutually adjacent elements 2b; the other joint member 15 attached to the core 3b at an end of the other element 2c, and engageable in the one joint member 11; and a sealing member 20 interposed at an engaging portion between the one joint member 11 and the other joint member 15, for watertightly sealing the engaging portion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
