PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a descaling treatment even on an installation site of a stainless steel component, in a descaling treatment method of the stainless steel component.SOLUTION: A descaling treatment method of a stainless steel component includes: a mechanical polishing step (S10) for mechanically polishing the stainless steel component; and an electrolytic polishing step (S12) for subjecting the mechanically-polished stainless steel component to anode electrolysis and electrolytic polishing by using an electrolytic solution containing an electrolyte and an acid component comprising at least one selected from malic acid, citric acid, gluconic acid, lactic acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, succinic acid, phytic acid, acetic acid, ascorbic acid, and itaconic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
