PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of such a situation that a key cannot be opened, in an intercom system capable of remote unlocking by using a portable terminal in place of the intercom master unit.;SOLUTION: Multiple communication terminals (interphones 10 and portable communication terminals 30) used by multiple registered persons as alternative call destinations are registered previously, and the interphone 10 performs camera processing in response to depression of a call button, acquires the movie image and face feature points of a visitor, and then transmits notification data NF including the face feature points to an authentication server 20. The authentication server 20 performs face authentication based on the face feature points included in the notification data NF, transmits call notification CR including the authentication results to multiple communication terminals at the alternative call destinations, and transmits the movie image information of the visitor to a communication terminal that has transmitted a response request Req for this call notification.
