PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder material for a powder bed melting coupling method containing composite particles and capable of manufacturing higher definition solid molded article.SOLUTION: There is related a powder material used for manufacturing a solid molded article by irradiating a laser light selectively to a power material containing composite particles to form a molded article layer where the composite particles are burned or melting bond and laminating the molded article layer. The composite particles contain base particles containing a thermoplastic resin with average particle diameter of 1 μm to 100 μm and sub particles containing metal oxide fastened to a surface of the base particles and having lower volume resistance than the thermoplastic resin. The powder material contains the metal oxide of 0.5 pts.mass to 10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the thermoplastic resin. Residual ratio of the metal oxide after the powder material is applied to an ultrasonic dispersion treatment in water to the powder material is 20 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
