To overcome a problem that packing density of a resin powder obtained by cutting a resin fiber is poorer and strength of a solid molded article formed by using a resin powder is poor when the resin fiber is used as a resin powder for solid molding, even under a situation that an almost cylindrical resin powder obtained for example by fixing a resin fiber formed by extruding a resin molten liquid and then extending with a movable clamp, and moving the same toward a cutting blade, and cutting the resin fiber is known as a powder of a resin used for manufacturing a solid molded article.SOLUTION: There is provided a particle for solid molding, having a columnar body shape with terminal surfaces and a side surface, in which one of the terminal surfaces covers a part of the side surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
