PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method capable of measuring arsenic which is contained in sample liquid at a low concentration simply and quickly without generating toxic hydrogenated arsenic gas, and furthermore, without using a hazardous mercury compound.SOLUTION: An analytical method of arsenic in sample liquid has: a complexing process of adding complexing agent which reacts with arsenic (III) to create a hydrophobic compound to sample liquid to obtain an arsenic (III)-complex compound; a capturing process of allowing the sample liquid having undergone the complexing process to pass through a filtration film, and capturing/concentrating the arsenic (III)-complex compound on the filtration film; an elution process of adding eluent, which contains an oxidant or a metal compound which is substitutable with arsenic (III) in the arsenic (III)-complex compound, to the arsenic (III)-complex compound captured on the filtration film, and eluting an arsenic component from the arsenic (III)-complex compound; and a quantifying process of quantifying the arsenic component contained in the eluate having undergone the elution process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
