PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove electrical noise occurring in a state monitoring sensor without the need for eliminating a specific frequency band in the state monitor of a rolling device.SOLUTION: The state monitor determines abnormality in a bearing included in a rolling device. The state monitor comprises state monitoring sensors 111-118 for detecting the vibration of a bearing, a reference sensor 111, and a controller 300 for determining abnormality in a bearing. The reference sensor is not electrically insulated from the state monitoring sensors, and is arranged at a position where effects of vibration occurring when a bearing being monitored becomes abnormal are small. The controller determines, on the basis of the detected value of the reference sensor, a period in which electrical noise occurred, removes, from the vibration data of the state monitoring sensors, the data of the period in which electrical noise occurred and creates data for determination, and determines abnormality in the bearing being monitored, using the data for determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
