PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Gaussian mixed model parameter calculation technique, an information estimation technique, and a sound emphasis technique such that a compression matrix A is optimized when finding Gaussian mixed model parameters.SOLUTION: A Gaussian mixed model parameter calculation device comprises: a load rate calculation part which calculates a load rate of EM algorithm based upon an input Gaussian mixed model parameter Θ; a Gaussian mixed model parameter update part which updates the Gaussian mixed model parameter Θ based upon the input Gaussian mixed model parameter Θ and the load rate; a compression matrix update part which updates the input compression matrix A by optimization using a gradient method based upon the input Gaussian mixed model parameter Θ, the load rate, and the input compression matrix A; and a control part which performs control to repeat processes of the load rate calculation part, the Gaussian mixed model parameter update part, and the compression matrix update part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
