PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely implement current balancing of power semiconductor elements that are connected in parallel, in simple configuration.SOLUTION: IGBTs 11-16 of a plurality of power modules PM1-PM6 are connected in parallel and, on the other hand, current balance control circuits 21-26 for driving the IGBTs 11-16 are connected in a dizzy chain shape of tying in a row. Each of the current balance control circuits 21-26 is capable of compare turn-on and turn-off timing of the IGBTs 11-16 from current information of its own IGBT among the IGBTs 11-16 and current information of the neighboring IGBT among the IGBTs 11-16 of the power modules PM1-PM6. If the turn-on and turn-off timing of its own IGBT is earlier than the turn-on and turn-off timing of the neighboring IGBT, the timing of its own IGBT is delayed in next switching operation, such that all the timing are matched with the latest timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
