PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress stress concentration to irregularities formed on a surface of a slide layer due to frictional force, and suppress occurrence of fine cracking in a ceramic structure for a faucet device due to the frictional force.;SOLUTION: A ceramic structure for a faucet device includes a ceramic substrate, and a slide layer formed on the surface of the substrate. The substrate is formed of dense ceramic with no pore on its surface. The slide layer is formed of diamond-like carbon.
