PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibodies recognizing by discriminating histone H4 in which both Lys5 and Lys8 are acetylated.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an anti-acetylated histone H4 antibody which recognizes acetylated histone H4 in which Lys5 and Lys8 of the histone H4 are acetylated and comprises a heavy chain variable region and/or a light chain variable region. The heavy chain variable region has a CDRH1 consisting of a particular amino acid sequence and a CDRH3 consisting of a particular amino acid sequence, and the light chain variable region has a CDRL2 consisting of a particular amino acid sequence and CDRL3 consisting of a particular amino acid sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: None
