PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily join a steel column and a steel beam while reducing costs and enhancing deformability of the beam.;SOLUTION: A manufacturing method is for a beam end part of a steel beam having a flange and a web connected orthogonally to the flange, the steel beam being joined to a steel column. A junction member is cut out from an H-section steel or a T-section steel, the junction member having a first plate part connected by a bolt to a vertical surface of the steel column and a second plate part orthogonal to the first plate part, the second plate part having a widened part that widens toward the first plate part.
