PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut Welsh onion manufacturing method capable of suppressing damage to cut Welsh onions in a sterilization process, and outflow of sugar from cut Welsh onions when applied to the cut Welsh onions, and capable of sterilizing cut Welsh onions uniformly with a small amount of a sterilization solution.;SOLUTION: In a method for sterilizing and manufacturing cut Welsh onions, Welsh onions are cut so that the width of the Welsh onion is 0.2-10 mm, and the Welsh onions are sterilized by spraying a sterilization solution on the cut Welsh onions, the amount of the sterilization solution to be used being 1-10 L per kg of the cut Welsh onions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
