PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to revise the schema of a database if items or layouts written in specifications are changed.SOLUTION: A specification input/output device that comprises a processor and a memory and processes specifications with a spread sheet format includes: a storage unit that stores design information definition defining structure of the specifications generated in advance, and a design information template having definition to convert the specifications with the spread sheet format generated in advance into those with a semi-structured data format; and a conversion unit that receives the specifications with the spread sheet format, sets information on the specifications to the design information template on the basis of the design information definition, and outputs it as design information with the semi-structured data format.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
