To improve recognition accuracy of an input device which inputs information by approaching or contacting a touch panel.SOLUTION: An input device specification method for specifying an input device includes: a detection step of detecting an input point to a touch panel by a contactor; a normalization step of normalizing coordinate information of each input point detected by the detection step on the basis of arrangement information of the contactor constituted of a predetermined position relation; a specification step of specifying the input point adapted to the contactor by comparing each input point information corresponding to the coordinate information normalized by the normalization step with the arrangement information of the contactor; a determination step of determining whether or not the input point specified by the specification step is positioned in a recognition range of the contactor; and a recognition range change step of changing the recognition range of the contactor on the basis of a determination result by the determination step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
