PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with improving jamming of rock wool in a hose during a spraying method of the rock wool, a technology with improving cotton waste and a rock wool aggregate less in jamming of the rock wool in the hose during the spraying method of the rock wool and less in cotton waste.;MEANS: There is provided a rock wool aggregate having 20% or less of a reduction amount of 1 mm residual rate (R2) at predetermined total rotation number (NT) of 48000 to 50000 rotations to 1 mm residual rate (R1) at predetermined total rotation number (NT) of 9500 to 10500 rotations, calculated by a 1 mm residual rate measurement test with an input process, an agitation process, a volatilization process and a classification process. There is provided a quality evaluation method of the rock wool aggregate for rock wool spraying method having a process for selecting the rock wool aggregate having reduction amount of R2 to R1 (selection process) of a specified value or less.
